Love
Once in a while we share things we really enjoy hearing about or using here.
State of the Nation - Thursday October 22
Catching up with the Thursday post - here we talk about everything going on, and how to prevent overeating at night. I go into detail on tips and tricks to make it through the transition, to stop overeating at night.
Quote of the Week - Encouragement
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by all the technical details of a good weight loss routine? This might sounds strange considering the source, by so do we. Yup… there are so many different programs, theories and routines in the fitness industry, trying to understand them all will leave even the smartest dietician frustrated. A French author once said:
“Nine tenths of education is encouragement.”
No matter which method of weight loss you choose, stay focused on the larger goal at hand - total body wellness. Remember, the intricate details are secondary to staying motivated. We’ll be here to provide the education, and just as importantly, we’re here to provide all the encouragement you need. So let’s go get healthy!
Quote of the Week - Love

Here’s a good one. I feel like it sums up what we’re all about here at Reshape the Nation…
We can do no great things, only small things with great love. - Mother Teresa
In life, it’s all about paying it forward through the small, heartfelt things we do for one another. Our success is only as good as those we help succeed. That’s why we’re so focused on not only helping you, but helping you help others. That’s what we do here. That’s what we hope you’ll do as well!
State of the Nation - Wednesday September 30
Today is a motivation day, so we’re sharing and reflecting on a few of our favorite quotes to help get you started on your transformation (or keep you on track!) See you tomorrow!
Quote of the Week: Acting

Some days, it’s easy to get caught in our own little “I wish” traps. On these dangerous days, we find ourselves saying things like, “I wish I had more time in my day,” or “I wish I had the money to afford that.” We get so caught up in the things we can’t control that we forget to control the things we can. For those days, and those moments, here’s a great quote to remember:
“I do not believe in a fate that falls on men however they act; but I do believe in a fate that falls on man unless they act.” - G.K. Chesterton
I love this quote because it reminds us that we are not doomed to a life of being unfit and lethargic. This is not our fate! However, if we don’t continually take action to control our own health, we can end up unhealthy as a result of our non-action. Remember, good intentions only go so far… so get out and take control of your weight loss fate!
Making an appearance on Lululemon

Well I got a nice surprise the other day… here’s the story:
I was introduced to an upcoming brand of fitness apparel called Lululemon about 8 months ago. The line was inspired by yoga, but the designs are so functional that the whole fitness industry is now wearing them. Lululemon apparel started several years back and has spread now to over 100 stores across the world!
So sure enough I get a phone call about a month ago that they are building a huge store right here in AZ and invited me to be their Arizona ambassador! Before I know it I’m on the front page of their website (with my squirrel buddy), and the rest is history.
For the crew over at Lulu: Man, i’m loving my new ‘Big Kahuna’ shorts!! I’ve worn them for 4 days straight now
Hope that’s not too much information! LOL
Oh, if you want to know the story behind the crasher squirrel, check it out. I love this little guy!
Inspirational Quote of the Week - Progress
“Progress is the activity of today and the assurance of tomorrow.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Every single week, we talk to people who are frustrated about their weight loss routine. Some are frustrated because they are not losing weight fast enough. Others are upset they can’t exercise as hard or as long as they wish they could. I love this quote because it reminds us that (like many things in life) weight loss is about making progress on a daily basis. When we focus on making a little bit of progress every single day, we have the assurance of a happy, healthy lifestyle tomorrow!
Three Weeks and Counting!

For those of you who are new to the blog, or those who might have forgot… I wanted to remind you that our official launch for our Total Body Transformation System is just a few weeks away!
Will our free blog be disappearing after the launch? No way. We’ll still be here, passing on our favorite fitness tips to our loyal readers. However, if you have benefited from our blog, the Total Body Transformation will be a great option for you!
The first couple of weeks will be just a very simple introduction to Carb Cycling on a schedule with us… consider it more like a running start to jump into the full program. This is what I do with all my clients to prepare our minds and bodies for the transformation lifestyle we’re beginning. We will follow a simple cycling plan, and begin working on our accelerators. Once we’re into the groove for a couple weeks, then we will transition into the full site and system!
This system is built on the same basic principles we share in our blogs: Eat. Move. Live. However, the Total Body Transformation will provide a much more structured program for those of you who need that extra help on a daily basis. We’ll help you eat healthier with the innovative STAX System, get you moving with our fun and unique “Shape the States” exercise routines, and always keep you engaged with our awesome daily video content! So if you you’re ready to make a change, just click on the “Getting Started” link on the left side of the page and get pre-enrolled. We’ll be “Getting Started” in less than three weeks!
